Author Biography
Grace Chiou earned her Ph.D at University of Denver/Iliff in Religious Studies with a focus on Cultural Studies. Her research investigates the intersection of media, religion and public values. Her recent work interrogates the neoliberal framing of mercy anf=d generosity and audience expectations of heroes and villains.
